A range of electromagnetic locking devices meeting low to very high security level requirements.
Remember to specify fail locked or fail unlocked version of the lock according to the fire route status of the door.

Electric strikes

• Security level 1-2 (low)
  Electrically controlled latch to work in conjunction with a mortice or rim lockcase
  Fail lock and fail unlock versions
  Mechanical override

Face to face magnets

• Security level 2-3 (low to medium)
  Door secured by magnetic holding force
  Surface mounted

Shear magnets

• Security level 4-5 (high to very high)
  Door secured by magnetic holding force and additional mechanical interlocking peg
  Surface or mortice mounted

Electromagnetic Shearlocks

Shear magnets are usually specified for double action doors (door operates in both directions), where good aesthetics are important or a high security solution is required.

• Suitable for single or double leaf doors
  Suitable for single and double action doors
  Fail unlocked (suitable for fire exit doors)
  Security level 4 (high) and 5 (very high)

• Holding force up to 2000lb
  Surface and mortice mounted options
  Suitable for timber or metal doors
  Minimum door thickness 41mm
